freedom3There are a lot of religions, sects and movements in the world; though not all of them deliver souls from slavery, sin and hell. There is only One that can set free from anything and Jesus is His name. There may be many ways in which people seek freedom and fulfillment, but none of them offer everlasting life and God himself dwelling among them as Christianity.

What Jesus did in the Cross gave Him authority over everything; to set free captives, to heal the sick, to restore the broken, to bring joy to the depressive, to sanctify sinners and to brake any yoke of darkness. Only trough Jesus salvation can be found. There is no other way of going to heaven. No matter how attractive seem other gods, they can’t offer what Jesus can: true freedom. (more…)

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation (NLT)

If somebody had told me what the LORD was going to do trough me when I got saved, I just would not have believed it. I was not what you would consider good material or at that time “usable”. In my conversion I was not sure if I would ever have a normal life, this for consequences of my previous life. The LORD entered fully in my life and gave me the promise of restoring my life and being His witness (Isaiah 43 and 42). (more…)

What happens when you start forgetting why do you do it? I mean, it used to be the greatest privilege and now it has become a burden. Living for God without Jesus is consuming. Family is still out there, ministry, work and the task list, though the joy is missing.

A Christian living without Jesus is simply a gun with no bullets, an eagle with wounded wings, a car with no engine, a singer that lost his voice. It’s a life with no meaning at all. Its leaving the Jesus factor out of our lives.

Jesus said it this way:

“Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.” Revelation 2:4  New International Version (NIV) (more…)

2 Corinthians 5:7 “That is why we live by believing and not by seeing” (NLT)

I consider myself one of God´s favorites; for He has allowed me to receive all of his promises by believing in Him with all my heart. In His word I found all the strength and braveness that I needed. I look back 5 years ago, and all I see is a lost being that found a light in the darkness, that led his path to freedom.

I discovered that the only way to get God´s favor is to walk by faith. I believed in what it could not be seen, I had to believe that it was not only a dream that experience of salvation. I had to believe the Lord spoke to me; even though people called me a nut. I learned that having faith is not exactly thinking, but going forward when you see nothing at all.

Believing in God is holding tight with all your heart to the freedom you received, and facing the fears that poison your soul. Believing in God means obedience, and leave behind our sinful nature. I learned to surrender totally to His plans, and allowed Him to take me to the promise land. I learned that after pain, comes a hug of our loving Father.  (more…)

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Mathew 14, 30

Yesterday my aunt who lives in Japan told me something very important that she thought necessary to share. As you know Japan is dealing one of its more difficult moments. There was an earthquake that killed a great amount of people. There is not electricity and it is a deal to find water. Some days before the natural disaster my aunt gave birth a new beautiful baby. She and her husband have now three children. (more…)
