freedom3There are a lot of religions, sects and movements in the world; though not all of them deliver souls from slavery, sin and hell. There is only One that can set free from anything and Jesus is His name. There may be many ways in which people seek freedom and fulfillment, but none of them offer everlasting life and God himself dwelling among them as Christianity.

What Jesus did in the Cross gave Him authority over everything; to set free captives, to heal the sick, to restore the broken, to bring joy to the depressive, to sanctify sinners and to brake any yoke of darkness. Only trough Jesus salvation can be found. There is no other way of going to heaven. No matter how attractive seem other gods, they can’t offer what Jesus can: true freedom. (more…)

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation (NLT)

If somebody had told me what the LORD was going to do trough me when I got saved, I just would not have believed it. I was not what you would consider good material or at that time “usable”. In my conversion I was not sure if I would ever have a normal life, this for consequences of my previous life. The LORD entered fully in my life and gave me the promise of restoring my life and being His witness (Isaiah 43 and 42). (more…)

“Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5

The most common mistake of missing out God´s blessings is not to dimension accurately what Jesus did on the Cross. Jesus not only paid the price of salvation for all humanity, but for them to be whole, healed an at all times in peace. Nevertheless to receive it, we have to believe it. (more…)

Why do I believe? Sometimes , I just don’t know why; but I move forward because I’m used to it. I have clung to believe that He will renew my being, and that finally; I will do  the generational change.  It has not been easy for I have learned to let go people and habits that I loved. And every step that I go forward in Christianity, the more the things I have to let go.

With every step to the promise land, the entrance becomes narrower, my emotional avoidance would not fit there. Neither the scale that I used to weight my judgment on. Now that scale is just calibrated, and if I did not use it; my mind it would be still captive.       (more…)

“And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives..” Romans 6:4 (NLT).

A sad face, a Christian looking to find himself with the death, living as if he had never met Jesus is not God’s will. Half living and having business with sin and death is not part of the new life Jesus paid for us. For those that were once condemned by sin and now saved by Jesus should be living joyful. Every person redeemed by Christ is called to live in fulfillment, with joy in their hearts and perpetual freedom.

A Christian that allows sin in his/her life is limiting the living waters Jesus paid for them. By keeping sin that person is building his/her life in a foundation of death. (more…)
