Currently, at least in our country, Argentina; applies a strict prohibition regarding the use of animals in circus acts. Specifically I remember the lion tamer in a cage with a wild beast, where the “grand finale” performance was to make the lion open his mouth and the tamer would get his head inside of it.

I do not know if there were any tricks or “little secret” to get his head unscratched and be able to hear in one piece the audience’s applause after such recklessness. The truth is that in the course of history this act, more than once went wrong and some animal tamers in the circus did not come out of their lion safely. Moreover, some also lost the life before the wild rush of an animal of nearly four times the weight of the daring trainer.

Believers, who have made the choice to obey God’s call and be in any way, a blessing to others, sometimes we forget the reality that we live literally with our head inside the jaws of a lion Read the rest of this entry »

When I was a child, I liked to watch at the clouds for prolonged time, just there contemplating the clouds. Later, with my daughter I had more opportunities to continue enjoying that celestial and majestic dance. Still today, I fascinate when contemplating the immense sky created by Our Lord. decked out with their cloudy beautiful formations. The imagination overcomes its free flight and far more, this among them. Thy show off what appear: battles, faces, forms of animals, trees, ships, landscapes”. and any possible formation running trough my mind. What beauty, my Lord.!.

In the face of similar stateliness my soul bursts in commendation, as well the psalmist expressed it: O LORD our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens”. (Psalm 8:1 KJ2000). Read the rest of this entry »

“And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives..” Romans 6:4 (NLT).

A sad face, a Christian looking to find himself with the death, living as if he had never met Jesus is not God’s will. Half living and having business with sin and death is not part of the new life Jesus paid for us. For those that were once condemned by sin and now saved by Jesus should be living joyful. Every person redeemed by Christ is called to live in fulfillment, with joy in their hearts and perpetual freedom.

A Christian that allows sin in his/her life is limiting the living waters Jesus paid for them. By keeping sin that person is building his/her life in a foundation of death. Read the rest of this entry »

St. Matthew 13:47-50 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, collect all kinds of fish, and once filled, they drew to shore, and sat, gathered the good into vessels, but the bad they cast out. This will be the end of the age the angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. “

When we talk about net, immediately relate it to the fishermen and the daily work that  many men carry out to deliver their daily bread to their homes. Read the rest of this entry »

Rejoice for you will be blessed.

James 1: 2, 3 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.”

Every day since we get up till we go to bed, we are in a spiritual battle that confronts our faith. Personally I think that trials are situations that help us to grow spiritually.

When James mentions the phrase: “Count it all joy when ye fall into various trials”, the first thing that comes to our minds “how can I rejoice when we are facing trials”

I believe that none of us like to be in the midst of trials, but if we reflect for a moment about the inherent truths in this passage, we’ll realize the following: Read the rest of this entry »
