Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41: 10 (NLT)
At some point in our lives we all have felt afraid and more than once we have felt alone.
There are moments in life where it seems like God is hidden, times where no matter how hard we pray; it seems that He does not hear or does not want to answer us.
Personally , I have been there in the spiritual desert, where I have longed for an angel to come down from the sky to give me some water, but unfortunately to my self in various occasions it has not been as I wished.
However in my Christian walking I have learned something and I want to share it with you:
It is true that in the life of all human beings there are deserts, and I cant deny that in the lives of the sons of God there are moments where apparently God has departed from us or is hidden, though we cant deny that in the middle of those dry patches, in the middle of those deserts or those times of divine silence; we have experienced the best times before God.
Personally, my best encounters with the Lord have been those moments in the desert, for it seems that our souls long for his presence and our spirit is thirst of him, for that I can understand now that God allow those moments so He could give us rest, that way we could see how much we need of him and how much we need to long for in the search of him.
In those moments when He comes as a calm wind and whispers to our ears: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
Wow , those sweet words from God to our lives, “Don’t be afraid “, like if He knew we are afraid of that surrounding us, “Do not be dismayed”, like if He knew our heart for when we are afraid we are about to faint, but it is really sweet to know that “ I’m am your God, I will strengthen you” , it means that is has nothing to do with my strength; but his trough the Holy Spirit strengthen me, and then it comes a promise: “I will help you”, in simple words confirming that He will be there always, even though everything looks like a desert, and then He says “I will uphold you with my victorious right hand”, it means that even when we are in spiritual dry patches; He will come and uphold us, our souls wont perish because of the thirst of him, our spirit wont dry for He is the living water.
Dear friend, maybe you are going trough a moment like this , when it seems like everything is against you, you are spiritually thirst , and cant find anything in the middle of the desert, there the lord is preparing the right timing to meet with you, to have one of those remarkable times of your life, where you might be in tears and feeling his presence like never before, He loves you and has never left you, He only wanted to remind you that when you seek him with all your heart, He is found.
God is faithful and cant deny himself, for that He loves you with an everlasting love , even when you are unfaithful, He remains faithful to you and this time is no the exception, therefore I tell you in Jesus name:
Don’t be afraid, do not be dismayed , for He is your God and my God.

I love the way I chose some years ago. I know it is difficult to follow but it is beautiful to see how great God is. Sometimes, I feel weak, but God helps me every single day. Don’t be sad or dissapointed, because GOD HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL , BUT HE NEEDS YOUR PERMISSION =) DO IT
God knows our heart. He is the only one who can see as we really are. I would like to change peoples´heart including mine. I would like to see through the hearts to discover the truth;however, I can not. For that, I strongly believe God helps us to decide what decisions to take and what kind of people to be near.
It is important to follow him;even though, we want to follow other way.
God bless you. Have a wonderful day
Sure Estephany our Lord is faithfull , he directs our steps towards the best but we have to obey him.
Blessings
