Perhaps you are facing a difficult situation at home. Maybe you are the only one who is Christian. I do not know what your troubles are but what I know is that all those things make you feel disappointed. Sometimes you feel that no person pays attention at your spiritual necessities. Maybe in this moment you are in tears because of that. Believe me I know how it feels. Sometimes my home is like a battlefield and I would like to go away.
Before knowing Jesus I used to put the blame on my parents. However, I understood that I do not have to see my problems, only Jesus. Besides, God is with me if I am with him.
It is pretty common to feel a bit discouraged because of the circumstances. Maybe you feel like crying but DO NOT WORRY and do not put on blame on you for that. Remember that you are a human who makes mistakes BUT DO NOT FORGET to go GOD’S PRESENCE. Personally, when I feel tired of everything I try to go quickly to my father who waits for me.
And if you are not doing what you wanted to do in order to get better your relationship with God,
“God understands your situation and he sees through your heart and its intentions”
I would like you to know:
Each time you feel like dying because your parents are arguing one more time or your husband (wife) has changed completely and now you do not understand him (her). Do not hesitate about God’s love and protection. On the contrary, close your eyes and talk with your dear dad and please do not only pray but also obey his instructions.
He says:
“The Lord turned to him and said, GO IN THE STRENGTH YOU HAVE AND SAVE ISRAEL (YOUR FAMILY )OUT OF MIDIAN’S HAND(ARGUMENTS, ALCOHOLISM, FIGHTINGS,ADULTERY and so on ), AM I NOT SENDING YOU?” Judges 6:14
Don’t excuse saying that you are the youngest of your family or you are poor. Because you and I are with God and he will help us.
What could I do?
First of all: Trust on God with all your heart and pray without ceasing.
Secondly: Do not do what you parents did. You are not your parents. You are different because of Jesus. You do not have to make the same sins your parents or relatives did; on the contrary, be different.
Then: Do the right thing. “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
Finally: Do not give up; on the contrary, carry on and do not listen all those people who tell you that you cannot do anything for your family. Now, you know that is a BIG LIE.
DO NOT RESIGN YOURSELF SEEING YOUR FAMILY’S PROBLEMS. IT IS TIME TO BE PART OF THEM. YOU HAVE ALREADY KNOWN THAT GOD IS FOR YOU, SO EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU, DON’T YOU THINK?
