Hoping for a blank sheet…running the last lap of this year to get a new beginning, new challenges, a chance to climb even higher, greater dreams to fulfill, new talents to administrate, crossing the finish line and receiving another year by grace. But first, the Lord will rank my performance.
Whatever the result may be, I’ll be short, and once again I’ll have to do adjustments to my life, there is no doubt this year I’ll be weighted with a higher standard of righteousness, no doubt that I’m not even close to the stature of he who I call Lord. Though I’m certain this time God has tested my heart and found someone that loves him above all, I still think there is a long way to go.
I pray so He would give me another chance in the final hours of 2010 to burn in passion and do his will. -Oh Lord cross my path with another needy so I can tell him about the good news, direct to me the steps of someone who is hungry so I can share your bread with him or maybe someone you would like to save. I want to burn in passion once again and fell your mighty power trough me, call me one more time to intercede for your children, call me once again Lord so I can proclaim how great you are. One more round Lord, grant it to me and I will not disappoint you. One more round Lord, I’ll keep on fighting until the bell rings. Give me one more round with the enemy so your Spirit shows him who the Lord is.
Lord, no matter this year’s outcome, please wait for me with your grace at the beginning of 2011. No matter what you decide about my future please wash me clean with your blood so I can begin a new year.
Thanks Lord for the year ending, for letting me being part of your chosen ones, and for my new heart that now knows how to love. Thanks Lord for the new places you took me to, and for all the gifts you gave me with every morning.
If I may Lord I would like to praise your name for another year in which I found the Almighty´s favor, even though there was fear, doubts, trials and pain, your love keep me alive.
A few hours before new year’s eve I invite you to reflect with me by doing a review of your performance of this year’s walk with the Lord. So you can have a fresh start of a new year. Once again surrender to his grace and keep no secrets to yourself. Found his resting peace and ask him a “blank sheet” for 2011.
The Lord your God encourages you today to embrace the blood of the lamb as an eraser of the year just passed, and to receive another blank sheet by grace for 2011.
